What's New In Hand2Note 4.1.71
We've completed another round of bug fixes and improvements for Hand2Note. In this article, I'll walk you through the new features. Download Latest Hand2note.
In this update, we focused primarily on fixing critical bugs. Next, we'll shift our focus to adding highly requested features, such as Marked Hands Categories. We expect to release the next update later this month (February 2025).
Export and import aliases
Users who frequently work with aliases in Hand2Note will appreciate the highly requested ability to import and export aliases using a .csv file. You can find the Export and Import buttons under Configuration → Aliases.
Improved Reg-Vs-Fish Stats
In addition to fixing issues with excluding reg-vs-fish actions, we've introduced a new option in the Stat Editor: the ability to specify whether an action is a reg-vs-fish action.
This option makes it easier to include only actions where a regular player acted exclusively against other regulars.
'Other' Category in Postflop Histogram
Hand2Note now automatically adds an Other category to every postflop histogram. This helps prevent issues when configuring custom hand value categories.
For example, suppose you modify the default hand value categories in the configuration but accidentally leave out gutshots, meaning they don't fall into any category. Notice that in the screenshot below, there is no gutshot category, and the draw category does not include gutshots either.
In earlier versions of Hand2Note, you wouldn’t notice this issue on the histogram. This could lead to costly decisions based on incomplete data.
Hand2Note 4.1.71 groups all missing hands into the Other category, making them easy to spot. Now you can quickly adjust your hand value categories to fix the issue.
"Everyone Folded Preflop" Stat Split by Stack Size
In Hand2Note 4.1.71, we’ve added the Big Blind Stack Size option. Now you can check specific situations, like: How often did everyone fold preflop when I was on the big blind with a stack smaller than 10 big blinds?
To see this, go to Reports → Filter → Custom Filter and select the options shown in the screenshot below.

Added:
- Aliases. Added export/import feature for aliases.
- Marked Hands. Added export/import feature for marked hands.
- Marked Hands. Added 'Unmark All Hands' menu item.
- Sisal Poker. Added hand history parser for Sisal Poker.
- Stat Editor. Added 'Is reg-vs-fish action' option.
- Stat Editor. Added option General -> 'Big blind stack size'.
- PMU.fr. Added support for PMU iPoker client.
- Sessions. Added stat 'Amount Won in Blinds (Won, bb)' to the sessions report.
- Postflop Histogram. Hand2Note implicitly appends 'Other' category to every postflop histogram.
Fixed:
- Packages. Editing of locked popups and packages is blocked in some cases.
- Locking Packages. Option 'Hide HUD implementation in editors' doesn't work (relocking is not required).
- Reports. Next Actions report shows wrong results if Hero checks preflop on the big blind in the custom filter.
- Reports. Filter 'Faced Preflop Action -> Unopened' doesn't work if Next Actions report is selected.
- Reports. Results do not include hands where everyone folded if the user selects initial hand filters like stack sizes.
- Reports. Filter 'Chipsum' shows wrong results in some cases.
- Reports. Filter 'Today' works incorrectly if the user sets the 'Start Of Day (hour)' option.
- Sessions. Sessions tab doesn't refresh if the database contains hands with an invalid date played.
- Notes. Noted hand may not be shown if the database doesn't contain this hand.
- Statistics. Stat 'Win Rate Without Showdown' doesn't work in popups (requires rebuilding database).
- Statistics. Last Sessions filter doesn't work properly.
- Reg-Vs-Fish. Hand2Note doesn't compute stats with Reg/Fish options in actions when 'Config -> Exclude reg-vs-fish hands' option is enabled.
- CoinPoker. Default CoinPoker currency rate should be 1.
- HUD. Small sample HUD opacity should apply to a stat without a sample.
- Aliases. Importing alias nicknames from a file doesn't work for some sites.
